Getting Started – Elements

4800 Gym is a private training facility. No athlete is simply allowed to come and "workout" whenever they choose. Instead, our athletes participate in structured "training sessions" that are run at specific times throughout the day by our certified trainers. To get started, make an appointment with us for a free introductory session.

4800 Gym offers an intense, effective strength and conditioning program, and even though it is designed to be universally scalable for all levels of fitness and technical ability, it is imperative that each athlete learns how to correctly perform the foundational movements that are regularly performed. This ensures that the athlete is comfortable performing the workout of the day, and has a general understanding of our methods and concepts.

To do this, we require that each new athlete complete an "Elements" course, which is made up of 5 1-on-1 or small group sessions with our certified trainers, designed to familiarize you with our gym, our trainers, and our expectations here at 4800 Gym. Cost of Elements depends on the size of your group. This course will include your introduction to Squats, Deadlifts, Presses, Cleans, Kettlebells, Mobility Drills, and general philosophy here at 4800 Gym.

*All new athletes must complete the Elements course before being allowed to train with us. The only exceptions are for those who can demonstrate proficiency in the Power lifts, Olympic lifts, and kettle bells.
